The Dual Action Hook and Loop Flexible Backing Plate is a molder urethane backing plate that attaches via the hook and loop system. This backing plate minimizes heat transfer while flexes to contour to your vehicle’s curves. It is built tough and carries a one year warranty. The reinforeced inner construction utilizes steel struts molded into the cenetr hub to give you the plate stavility while maintaining a great even surface for pads. The backing plate is smaller than the pads to allow a generous lip of foam to protect the paint surface. Even if you turn the pad onto its side accidentally, there is an inch of soft, beveled urethane between the edge of the plate and the inner construction.
